This weekend I felt like it was time for another Observation flight. So I choose to go with Thomas Cook to Corfu. Saturday, 26th of April, it was the first flight of this summer season to Corfu, which also meant a Ferry flight back. For those who are saying now, what the h*ll is a ferry flight, read further...A ferry flight is a flight where no passengers are taken on board. This can happen when, f. ex., Thomas cook has it's first flight to a destination, well no tourists are staying there for holidays, since it's the first flight. So they only bring passengers and return empty. Quite nice to see an airplane with 180 empty seats flying...
It was a very nice flight, we saw some Thunderstorms over Italy and the west coast of Greece, flew together with a Boeing 747 of Cathay during approach in Brussels and we had spectacular views over Corfu. A visual landing over the city of Kerkyra, and during take off again nice visibility with some layer clouds to have a clear view of the place over there. I took some pictures as well, you can have a look at them by clicking on the picture below.
Thanks for reading and enjoy the pic's!
