Two weeks ago I finished the first BlokA of the ATPL Exams. I was very happy that the first part was actually done! I still don't believe it...The final result was very good, with everybody actually! So I'm already with one hand on the control stick. Just finish Blok B now and I can finally take off!!!

ATPL BLOK A
Small update here...
I finished my Sim Sessions on the DA42 last week. The check was great, my results were very good as well as those of my flightmate. The flight itself was a flight in Arizona, with a VOR approach in Scottsdale, a ILS approach in Mesa Gateway and finally an NDB approach in Falcon Field, which was actually the most difficult one. Steep descends to get to the minima's not to pass the airfield in order to do a circling...but oke. This may be chinese for many readers as well.
Now the exams have full priority. I may have passed my check and be ready to fly for real in the states, I still need that theory certificate.
Today I had the first part of BLOK A. This includes Mass & Balance, Flight Planning and Perormance. They are very similar to each other, but Flight planning was the biggest one.
After having a big delay with the train in the morning and being sandwiched on the next one, I finally made it to the Belgian civial aviation building to take my copies and make the exam. Ten minutes too late, not a good start...but I know for next time that the Belgian rails are not that efficient.

I know it's only the start, but I'm already glad I made it so far. Friday is the next part.
Now a relaxing cool beer is waiting for me...
